- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆If you ever are looking for a mortgage, and your broker wants to work with First Community Mortgage. Avoid them like the plague. I made a mistake during a VA IRRL refinance, made a mistake by not getting the auto draft turned off in time. I own it, my mistake. But since I will be getting the money back, anyway, I sent a nice email explaining the situation, along with a closing letter from my broker. I got a nice FU email, and when I called back to ask about reconsidering they then got rude. So much for customer service. My only satisfaction is knowing, My House is no longer financed through them and I will eventually get my money back.
